Bitcoin Price Drops 55% From Its High

The cryptocurrency market has continued its decline since last week, reflecting the decline of the broader stock market.

The world's largest cryptocurrency, bitcoin, fell to $30,641 on Monday afternoon, down

11% from 5 p.m. Sunday. EDT, as per prices from CoinDesk. The price of bitcoin

is down 55% from its all-time high of $67,802 in November.

Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, fell to $2,271.24 on Monday, down nearly 11% from Sunday evenings price. 

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are more widely known for their violent price swings.
